4. In the Settings tab of the Display Properties window, adjust the "Screen resolution" slider bar all the way to the right, towards More. Click Apply.

5. The display will flicker for a moment. When it comes back, the new resolution will be active. A small window will appear asking if you want to keep these settings. If your screen looks good, then click Yes.

To increase the screen resolution on a Mac, please follow the three steps below.
a. Open the System Preferences by clicking on the Apple icon in the menu bar and selecting System Preferences...

b. In the System Preferences window, click on Displays. (Your screen may not look exactly like this one, but Displays should look like a screen and be in the Hardware area.)

c. Select the highest available resolution. (Choose higher numbers to choose higher resolutions.) When you pick the new resolution, your screen will flicker momentarily as the resolution changes.
